Osteoboost Wins Big at the 2024 Hitlab Women’s Health Tech Event

Last week I had the honor of presenting Osteoboost, our soon-to-launch FDA-cleared precision vibration therapy medical device, at the 2024 Hitlab Women’s Health Tech event held on October 11. And I’m thrilled to report that Osteoboost won both first place in the seed-stage category and the event’s People’s Choice Award! This recognition is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team, and all of the scientists and researchers who have been a part of our journey to date.

The event, chaired by Susan Solinsky (Founding LP at How Women Invest and Co-Founder, Chief Growth Officer at Ellipsis Health), brought together over 600 thought leaders, product innovators, and advocates passionate about transforming healthcare for women. The competition was inspiring, with groundbreaking startups from around the world presenting solutions tackling the most pressing challenges in women’s health today.

Osteoboost won the seed stage competition, and we are grateful to all of the judges including Courtney Leimkuhler, Founding Partner at Springbank Collective; Christina Jenkins, MD (CJ), Co-Founder and GP of Convergent Ventures; Julianne Roseman, Principal at Plug and Play; and Dana Sun, Principal at Laerdal Million Lives Fund. This award is an incredible honor recognizing Osteoboost’s potential to make a significant impact on the challenges of low bone density, which disproportionately affects women as they enter menopause. Our aim is to empower women with proactive, easy-to-use and effective technologies that help them take control of their bone health to live stronger lives long into the future.

Additionally, receiving the People’s Choice Award is particularly meaningful for me. To know that the attendees—many of whom are leaders and experts in the healthcare field—believe in our mission and technology is both humbling and energizing. It reinforces our commitment to delivering a product that delivers real results to women and healthcare providers alike.

We extend our gratitude to Hitlab and to Susan Solinsky for her leadership in creating such a dynamic event for women’s health innovation. Keynote speaker Esther Dyson was one of the big highlights of the show. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to participate in this amazing community and the support we have received in return.
